Environmental Code Enforcement
Code Enforcement is committed to provide a clean, safe, sanitary and healthy environment for all of the citizens by enforcing the City Codes on property upkeep. The areas of concern are grass and weeds, trash and rubbish, inoperable vehicles, parking on grass in front yard and home occupations. Their office is located at 124 W. Walnut Street.

Animal Control
The Blytheville Animal Shelter is responsible for promoting public health and safety, for temporarily sheltering and providing humane disposition of unwanted or lost animals, and for promoting animal welfare so that pet ownership is a pleasure for owners without becoming a burden to the community. The Shelter is located at 2530 Arizona Street and is open for adopting or reclaiming pets from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except holidays. Animal control officers work off of a message system by calling 870-762-0453. If you have an emergency such as a dog bite or dog attack in progress call 911.
Citizens should contact local exterminators for rodents, pests or reptiles.
